Our Licenses & Insurance

Plumbing Care Inc. operates as a fully licensed, bonded, and insured plumbing contractor in California. We hold a California State License Board (CSLB) license in three classifications, which together permit us to perform general building, plumbing, sanitation, and sewage work on residential, commercial, and HOA properties throughout the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Placer County.

Our CSLB license covers three classifications: C-36 Plumbing Contractor, C-4 Boiler, Hot-Water Heating, and Steam Fitting Contractor, and C-42 Sanitation System Contractor. Insurance Coverage

We carry full Workers' Compensation coverage for every employee on every job site, plus General Liability and Umbrella Insurance at limits that meet or exceed commercial property management requirements. Both policies are active and certificates of insurance (COI) are provided on request before any commercial or HOA project begins.

Manufacturer Certifications

Manufacturer certifications matter to homeowners because they guarantee two things: (1) our technicians have completed the manufacturer's training program for the specific equipment we install, and (2) we are authorized to perform warranty service on that equipment. Plumbing Care Inc. is currently certified by six major water-heating and plumbing-equipment manufacturers.

Navien Rewards — Silver Status

Navien tankless water heaters are among the most efficient gas-fired tankless units available in North America. Our Silver-tier certification confirms that our technicians are trained to install, repair, and warranty Navien NPE, NPN, and NCB series units. We are also authorized for Navien's commercial cascade installations.

Rinnai ACE Contractor (Residential & Commercial)

Rinnai's Authorized Customer Engagement (ACE) designation is granted only to contractors who complete annual product training and meet customer-satisfaction benchmarks. We hold both the residential and commercial Rinnai certifications, allowing us to size and install Rinnai's full tankless and combi-boiler line including the RU, RUR, REU, and i-Series products.

Noritz Certified Contractor

Our Noritz certification covers installation, service, and warranty work on Noritz NRC, NCC, and EZ series tankless heaters. Noritz is a leading Japanese manufacturer specializing in high-recovery tankless systems suited to large California homes.

A.O. Smith Certified Contractor

A.O. Smith is the largest residential and commercial water heater manufacturer in the United States. Our certification covers the full A.O. Smith product line including ProLine, Vertex, Cyclone XL, and Voltex hybrid heat-pump models.

Rheem Certified Contractor

Rheem's manufacturer-certification program qualifies us to install and warranty Rheem and Ruud branded water heaters, tankless systems, and hybrid units. We handle both standard and high-efficiency Rheem installations for residential and light commercial properties.

Bradford White Certified Contractor

Bradford White manufactures water heaters exclusively for licensed plumbing professionals — the brand is never sold through big-box retailers. Our certification covers the full Bradford White line and ensures warranty-eligible installation for homeowners who specifically request the brand.

Specialty Certifications

California State Backflow Prevention Certification

Backflow prevention is the protection of potable (drinkable) water supplies from contamination via cross-connections. California requires that any contractor installing, testing, or repairing backflow prevention assemblies hold a state-issued backflow certification. Our active backflow certification authorizes us to perform annual testing required by water districts as well as new installations on irrigation, fire-suppression, and commercial water lines.

Commercial Rinnai Certification

Beyond standard Rinnai ACE certification, we also hold the commercial-tier Rinnai certification required for cascade installations, commercial water-heating systems, and Rinnai's commercial boiler line. This allows us to specify and install Rinnai equipment for restaurants, multifamily properties, and small commercial buildings.

State-Certified Contractor
